Maple Syrup Making and Guided Sap Collecting Hikes in the Sugarbush 

Hit the trail for a guided interactive maple hike. Collect sap in the sugarbush and see the steaming evaporator as we boil down to “liquid gold” maple syrup. Preregistration required. Members free; nonmember adult $10, nonmember child $6 (includes daily admission).

Get a behind-the-scenes look at the maple syrup evaporator and sugaring tools like skimmers, filters, and thermometers. You will be able to look inside the sap storage tanks, help set up for the day’s programs, and help prepare the materials to fire up the evaporator. Preregistration required. Members $5; nonmembers $11 (includes daily admission).

Homeschool Maple Sugaring

Join a naturalist for this winter adventure to find some of our native maple trees and learn about how the process of photosynthesis is involved with the production of maple syrup, which we call “liquid sunshine.”  Help with sugaring work and sample warm maple syrup right off the evaporator. For kids and teens; recommended for 5 years and up with a caregiver. Preregistration required. Members $7; nonmembers $13 (includes daily admission).

Maple Date Night: A Taste through Time 

Love is in the maple-scented air at Rowe Woods! During this maple tasting experience, we’ll tap into how people’s love for maple syrup has changed through time as we savor foods and stories. This is a program designed for couples. Preregistration required. Member couple $55; nonmember couple $75.

Revel in the magic of maple season! Sample maple beer, collect sap in the sugarbush, and join in games and activities that are sure to be fun for all ages. Preregistration required. Member adult $15 and member child $5; nonmember adult $21 and nonmember child $11 (includes daily admission).
