About CincyNature Camp

CincyNature summer camps are week-long, nature day camps for children and teens, ages 3 through 13. Camps take place from June through August at our two sites: Rowe Woods in Milford and Long Branch Farm & Trails in Goshen.

Day Camp

CincyNature day camps are held at both the Rowe Woods and Long Branch Farm & Trails locations. There are opportunities for children ages 3-13.

Overnight Camp

CincyNature summer camp will have two sessions of overnight camp for teens ages 12-15. The overnight camp will be held at our Long Branch Farm & Trails location in Goshen and will include one day of day camp before returning for a two-night stay. Click here to learn more.

Leader-in-Training Program

CincyNature camp’s Leader-in-Training (LIT) program is a volunteer opportunity for youth ages 14-17. Our program is designed to help teens develop leadership and life skills while having fun at summer camp! From helping counselors on hikes, to leading games and being positive role models for campers, LITs are a vital part of CincyNature camps. On top of gaining skills, friendships, and memories, each LIT can earn up to 40 hours of volunteer service per week.

For more information, visit our Youth Volunteer website here.

About Our Camps

Campers explore the natural world outdoors and should be able to move themselves along gravel and wood chipped trails, up and down hills, across boardwalks, and over flat and uneven ground with minimal assistance. Campers interact with peers in collaborative activities and games. To ensure safety for both campers and staff, each camper should be capable of maintaining appropriate self-control in social situations.

We’re happy to make reasonable accommodations for children with special needs, depending on their requirements. Parents and guardians with questions regarding the ability of camp staff to meet a child’s needs should contact Camp Director, Kelly Steyer, at or (513) 831-1711, ext. 137.

  • All cancellations are subject to a $50 administrative fee per camp per camper.
  • Cancellations made with less than two weeks’ notice will not be refunded.
  • Transfers from one camp into another are considered a cancellation and are subject to the $50 administrative fee per camp per camper. It is the registrant’s responsibility to re-register the camper online.

Wait Lists

Campers on our wait lists get priority when a camp spot becomes available. Campers registered for the wait list will be contacted by email in the order their registrations were received. Please provide a preferred email address so you can be reached if an opening becomes available. If registration does not take place within 24 hours of the email contact, the next camper on the list will automatically be contacted. If the camp opening is within 10 days of the camp start date, the 24-hour response policy will not apply.

Attending CincyNature Camp with a Same-Age Friend or Sibling

Children will be divided into small groups for camp. Groups will be preassigned and children will be separated into groups on the first day of camp according to age. If your child has a friend or relative registered in their camp and you wish to place them in the same trail group, please indicate this on your online health form in your UltraCamp account under the "Additional Information" section, and we'll do our best to accommodate as long as you indicate this TWO WEEKS PRIOR to the start of camp.

If you wish for your child to be placed with a friend or a family member whose ages are not within one year of one another, our policy is to place the older camper with the younger camper’s trail group. The group that your child is assigned to will be your camper’s trail group for the week.

Non-Discrimination Policy

Cincinnati Nature Center does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, age, income, ethnicity, sexual orientation, marital, or family status.
