Fairy Adventure in the Nature PlayScape 

Saturday, March 25, 10-11:30 am 

Join us in exploring the magic of spring in the Nature PlayScape by crafting your own wand with the help of fairies. Find all the fairies scattered throughout the PlayScape to complete your wand and capture the magic of spring. No registration necessary for this drop-in program located in the Nature PlayScape. Members free; nonmembers pay daily admission at the gate.

Family Fire Building 

Saturday, April 1, 3-4:30 pm - SOLD OUT! 

With your family, learn and perform the best tips and tricks for fire building. We’ll use primitive tools and natural materials to start our fires. Once you’ve put in the dedication to make your fire great, enjoy a roasted marshmallow treat! Members $6; nonmembers $12 (includes daily admission).

Create a Tin Can Bug Hotel in the Nature PlayScape 

Saturday, April 22, 10 am-12 pm 

Let your budding explorer transform a tin can and natural materials into a whimsical bug hotel. Hang your bug hotel up at home and see who checks in. Ideal for ages 4-8 with an adult caregiver.No registration necessary for this drop-in program located in the Nature PlayScape. Members free; nonmembers pay daily admission at the gate.

Wild With My Child: Colors of Spring at Long Branch Farm & Trails 

Friday, May 5, 10:30-11:30 am

During this self-paced discovery program, young children and their caregivers will explore nature together through multiple senses and outdoor exploration. Meander the trail and visit naturalists along the way to discover the many colors of spring during play experiences. Member adult $5 and member child $5; nonmember adult $11 and nonmember child $7 (includes daily admission).

Flower Painting in the Nature PlayScape 

Sunday, May 14, 10 am-12 pm 

Explore the Nature PlayScape and collect flowers to use as paintbrushes. You’ll then make a special card for an important person in your life using flowers and paint. Drop-in anytime between 10 am and 12 pm to participate. Suitable for children of all with an adult caregiver. No registration necessary for this drop-in program located in the Nature PlayScape. Members free; nonmembers pay daily admission at the gate.  

Froggy Games in the Nature PlayScape 

Saturday, May 20, 10-11:30 am 

Join us in celebrating National Frog Jumping Day by hopping your way through the PlayScape to complete various frog-themed games. Try all the froggy games and leap off with a special prize. We’ll also make a jumpy frog craft to play with after the program. Perfect for ages 5-10 with an adult caregiver. No registration necessary for this drop-in program located in the Nature PlayScape. Members free; nonmembers pay daily admission at the gate.
