• Our Summer Nature Preschool program is intended for families looking for discovery-based learning and a hands-on approach to education.

• This is great preparation for children starting in a preschool or kindergarten this fall, or for those not enrolled in regular preschool during the school year but needing to learn autonomy in a group setting.

• Also a great way for children to practice the skills needed for future preschool or kindergarten experiences, including independence and social skills (eating as a group, taking turns, etc.)

• Children are assisted in their interactions with others and invited into cooperative learning and play.

Adult/Child Ratios‍

Our program operates with a minimum of one adult educator per eight children (1:8 ratio), which surpasses the state licensing minimum of one adult per 12 children (1:12). This staffing plan ensures a safe and personal learning experience for your child. There is a maximum of 16 children per session.

Each 5-day enrichment week runs Monday through Friday from 9:15 am—12:15 pm. Families may register for all 8 weeks or just a few.

Because this is a licensed preschool, there is a registration packet for each family to ensure compliance with state standards. Each week includes a combination of routine practices and emergent curriculum based on what we discover together in nature.

Children bring a packed individual snack. Parents and guardians do not attend this camp with their children. Children must be potty-trained at attend.
