Forager's Fest

The forests are teeming with edible delights!
Celebrate this bountiful time of year with live music, food trucks, on-trail activities, foraged treats and brews, and so much more!

Friday, September 19, 6–10 pm at Rowe Woods
This adults-only event will feature:
• Live music from Chandler Carter, 6:30–9:30 pm under the Krippendorf Terrace.
• Food for purchase from Schmidt's Sausage Truck and Taste of Mexico food trucks.
• Activities and demos all centered around Ohio's abundant wild food sources.
• Complimentary samples of beer and spirits made with Cincinnati Nature Center-foraged ingredients from local breweries and distilleries.

Additional beer, wine, and a signature foraged cocktail will be available for purchase.
• Foraged sweet treats and food bite samples.
Artisan goods from local makers available for purchase, including out pop-up Autumn Native Plant Sale and the Cincinnati Nature Center Nature Shop.
Preregistration required. Ages 21 and older. Must show ID. Member adult $30; nonmember adult $30.

Please note: Pets are not permitted at any Cincinnati Nature Center program or event.

Where will this event be held?

Forager's Fest will take place at Cincinnati Nature Center’s Krippendorf Lodge. Krippendorf Lodge is located at our Rowe Woods location at 4949 Tealtown Rd., Milford, OH, 45150.

Do I have to know anything about foraging to attend this event?

No. This event is open to anyone age 21+ with a ticket, regardless of experience or knowledge of foraging. ID required.

Do I have to purchase a ticket?

Yes. Preregistration is required. We do expect this event to sell out.

Can I get a refund?

All sales are final. Refunds are not issued unless Cincinnati Nature Center must cancel the event due to inclement weather or other reasons. You are welcome to give your ticket(s) to someone else in the event that you are no longer able make it. To do so, share your receipt with the QR code with the new ticket-holder so they can show it at Registration for admission in your place.

Is this event family-friendly?

No, this event is for adults 21+. A valid ID must be presented upon entry.

Do I have to stay the entire time?

No! This event is open house style, and guests are welcome to arrive at any time and stay as long as they would like. Please note: Activity stations along the trail will close at 9:30pm due to the fact that it will be completely dark on the trails by this time. Activities at the Krippendorf Lodge (food trucks, vendors, the bar) will remain open until 10:00pm.

What time is the music?

Live music will start at 6:30 and end at 9:30, with the band taking a couple breaks throughout that time.

Can I bring my pet?

No. Service animals only, please.

Can I bring in my own food and drink?

No. With the exception of water bottles, absolutely no outside food and drink will be allowed.

Will this event take place outside?

Yes. This event will have some covered space but will largely take place outdoors. All Cincinnati Nature Center programs take place rain or shine.

Will there be parking at this event?

Yes. There is plenty of parking available at Krippendorf Lodge. Parking is free with ticket.
