Community Membership
Our Community Membership will allow approved organizations access for an entire year. The Community Membership admits groups based on the level purchased.
Community 1: Admits up to 12 individuals per visit
Community 2: Admits up to 24 individuals per visit
Community 3: Admits up to 36 individuals per visit
Totals include both clients and staff. Organizations are encouraged to rotate clients and staff to maximize their benefit.
Community Membership is available by application only. Priority is given to organizations that serve under-resourced or marginalized populations. Eligible organizations may include:
• Group homes
• Development centers
• Social service organizations
• Senior centers and retirement homes
• Churches
All Community Memberships are subsidized for affordability; however, additional subsidies maybe awarded based on availability.
This membership is not intended for schools, children’s groups, homeschool groups, scouts, or photographers. These groups may explore other opportunities offered by the Nature Center.

Application and Renewal Process
To apply or renew, organizations must complete a Community Membership Application. Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and approval is not guaranteed. Memberships may be awarded at any time during the year and must be renewed annually. All Community Memberships are subsidized. Additional subsidy funds may be available.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can we bring different clients each time?
Yes. You are encouraged to rotate clients with at least one staff member per visit to ensure maximum benefit from this membership.
What if we need to bring more people than our membership level allows?
Please contact our Membership Office to discuss options. Additional daily admission may be available at a discounted rate, depending on need and availability.
Can employees use the membership personally?
No. Membership is for authorized employees and clients only. It is not intended for personal use by staff, board members, volunteers, or their families.
Why are Community Memberships only available to need-based organizations?
By offering Community Memberships exclusively to need-based organizations, we ensure our resources directly support groups that benefit most from affordable access to nature—for wellness, education, and community-building. This approach aligns with our mission of equity, inclusion, and environmental stewardship.
What if we lose our membership card?
Replacement cards are available for a $6 fee. Please contact the Membership Office at (513) 965-4893.
Does the Community Membership reciprocate with other nature centers?
No. Community Membership is not eligible for reciprocal benefits. It is only intended for use at Cincinnati Nature Center.
Can my clients register for Nature Center programs at the discounted member price?
Community Membership allows employees and clients to participate in programs at the discounted member price. The number of tickets purchased depends on the membership level and ticket availability. To secure member pricing on programs for your community group, reach out to our Membership staff for assistance.
