Nestled among resplendent woodland gardens, the impressive Krippendorf Lodge provides a unique location for corporate retreats and meetings, community gatherings and stylish weddings.

Center for Conservation

Breathtaking Events at the Center for Conservation

The Groesbeck Estate, home to the Center for Conservation, is a perfect setting for corporate rentals and retreats, private events, weddings and more. This historical landmark recently underwent a $2.5 million renovation which modernized its amenities and comforts, while preserving the historical beauty and integrity of its original architecture.

Fernwood Shelter

There are eight picnic tables with seating for up to 75 people and a full kitchen. A gas grill is available to rent as well.

With space for games and easy access to hiking trails, this is ideal for family reunions or large picnics.

Auditorium

The Auditorium in the Rowe Visitor Center is a wonderful space for large gatherings and features vaulted ceilings and an abundance of natural light.

The Auditorium can be set with tables and chairs, or auditorium-style seating.

Fernwood Cabins

Two private rustic cabins are set in the peaceful forest at Cincinnati Nature Center. Each cabin sleeps up to 16 people in comfortable bunk beds with mattresses and is furnished with a table and chairs. Both have access to nearby running toilets and warm showers.

Enjoy the evenings around the fire and cook your food over the cooking fire ring. Firewood is provided. The wooded cabin area includes a shared pavilion and picnic tables. Minimal tent camping is permitted.

Great for scouts, weddings, groups and family get-a-ways. Come and immerse yourself in nature and leave feeling refreshed!

Located just outside the Nature PlayScape and with easy access to hiking trails, this is ideal for children’s birthday parties or small gatherings.

An expansive stone terrace, protected from the elements with a custom-designed awning, and a large covered porch can accommodate groups of up to 220 for seated meals and presentations.

Groesbeck Estate

With stunning wooded views, professional native landscaping and historical features Groesbeck Estate is a perfect setting for weddings, private events, corporate rentals, retreats and more. Groesbeck Estate features a front terrace, indoor space and an expansive, private covered back deck. Groesbeck Estate

Completely renovated in 2016, this English Manor Country Home can accommodate groups of eight to 40 indoors with two separate meeting rooms. From April to October, groups of up to 120 can enjoy the stunning views of the adjacent woodlands on the covered Tritsch Terrace in the back of the building. Several outdoor areas can serve as additional meeting spaces for smaller gatherings or break-out sessions.

This English Manor Country Home, built in 1920, features outstanding indoor and outdoor areas including an elaborate back terrace and custom deck overlooking a wooded ravine. Two distinctive rooms in the massive stone building provide space for special event activities and displays. Say “I do” in the native plant-inspired Haile Pillar Garden, then move to the Tritsch Terrace for a memorable reception surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature.

An expansive stone terrace remains protected from the elements from spring through autumn with a custom-designed awning allowing for views into the adjacent forest. A stunning, covered porch wraps around three sides of the home and offers additional space for many different event options. Several wood-paneled rooms can be flexibly joined together as one open area or remain as separate, more intimate enclosures.

Seating layouts and serving method (buffet or sit down) are two factors that impact the number of guests that can be comfortably accommodated. 

Center for Conservation

Host Your Event With Us

Tucked away in a private, professionally landscaped location, the Center for Conservation features a front terrace, indoor space and an expansive, private, covered back deck that can seat up to 120 guests. The stunning wooded views, professional native landscaping and historical features, make this a perfect setting for any event.

Catering options are available and seating options include buffet or seated-serving.

This is a very private area including a private parking lot.

Built in 1920, and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2016, the impressive Groesbeck Estate includes a pillar garden, interior metal artwork from Marie Zimmerman, and an expansive greenhouse with a historic stone house. The original grounds were designed by the turn-of-the-century famous landscape designer, Gertrude Jekyll from England.

The upstairs is currently home to the Center for Conservation at Cincinnati Nature Center.

Refunds will be issued only if the cancellation is made at least 30 days prior to the reservation date. Refunds will not be issued due to inclement weather.

Rowe Visitor Center Auditorium

With vaulted ceilings and an abundance of natural light, the Rowe Visitor Center Auditorium can accommodate up to 100 people. The open space can be arranged in a variety of configurations with tables and chairs or in a theater-style format.

Fernwood Shelter

For more casual meetings, Fernwood Shelter provides an ideal, natural setting for groups up to 75 people. Surrounded by lawn and with easy access to hiking trails, the shelter is equipped with eight picnic tables and a full prep kitchen.

History

Built in 1900 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2011, Krippendorf Lodge is sited on more than 1,000 acres of spectacular forests, fields, streams and ponds. Corporate guests, in particular, enjoy the option of including time for a relaxing hike through the woods as part of a business retreat. From enchanting spring wildflowers to the dazzling colors of autumn, the ever-changing beauty of nature will provide your guests with an unforgettable event.
