How to Register


Parents and grandparents at Cincinnati Nature Center Family Membership level and above receive discounted prices on all camps. Membership must be current at time of registration and camp to qualify.

How to Register

REGISTRATION IS ONLY ACCEPTED ONLINE AT WWW.CINCYNATURE.ORG. CAMP REGISTRATIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTED BY PHONE OR MAIL. You may also visit the Rowe Visitor Center and staff will assist you with online registration. For more information, contact the Registrar at (513) 831-1711, ext. 129.


When to Register

Registration opens for members and nonmembers on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 10 am EST. 

Wait List

Campers registered for the wait list will be contacted by email in the order their registrations were received. Please provide a preferred email address so you can be reached if an opening becomes available. If a response is not received within 24 hours of the email contact, the next camper on the list will automatically be contacted. If the camp opening is within one week of the camp start date, the 24-hour response policy will not apply.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to the high volume of calls during camp season, we cannot answer questions regarding a child’s place on a waiting list. We will contact you by email if an opening occurs. As openings are due to cancellations, we cannot predict when or if any openings will occur. New camps will not be created if there is a demand as our camps are at capacity.

Other Registration Information

  • All camps require egistration and prepayment at the time of registration.
  • Please provide an email address that is checked frequently to ensure the receipt of important camp correspondence and reminders for Cincinnati Nature Center Camps.
  • Due to the strain Covid-19 has put upon camp, we will not be distributing camp t-shirts. In its place, campers can bring a shirt to tie-dye. Please send a white t-shirt to camp on Monday for your camper to tie-dye during the week.


Cancellation and Transfer Policies

As of Friday, May 15, Cincinnati Nature Center has changed our cancellation and transfer policy for the remainder of camp season. The new policy is as follows:

  • Refunds will be offered if the request is made by 9 am two weeks' in advance of the camp session. All cancellations are subject to a minimum processing fee of $25 per camp per camper. All requests must be completed online by logging into your camp registration account (UltraCamp) and cancelling your camp reservation. If you have questions, please
  • Cancellation requests made with less than two weeks’ notice will not be refunded except when the request is for unforeseen medical issues. If you wish to cancel a CincyNature Camp session for unexpected medical reasons within two weeks of a camp session you will receive a refund minus a $25 processing fee. Please make the medical cancellation request in writing before the start date and time by emailing the specifics of your request to
  • Transfers requests from one camp into another without charge may be possible with at least two weeks notice. Please email at least two weeks in advance of your child’s camp start date and include the specifics of your request.

Camp Policies

  • At drop-off, campers may arrive no more than 15 minutes before the published start time of camp. The same parent or caretaker should conduct pick-up and drop-off each day if possible. Please do not drop off your camper in the parking lot to walk in on their own. If you are driving in a car pool, please sign each child in and out individually.
  • Mandatory hand washing and daily healthcare assessment, including taking temperatures, will be conducted daily for staff and campers upon arrival. If a camper or staff member presents with a temperature of 100 degrees or higher, they will not be permitted to attend camp until they are fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medication. Each day be prepared to sign your child in. 
  • At pick-up, campers are required to be picked up promptly at the end time of camp each day.Each day be prepared to sign your child out. Please bring a picture ID to pick-up. All individuals authorized for pick-up listed in our camp system will be printed at noon the Wednesday before the camp start date. Please finalize any authorized pick-up individuals in our UltraCamp system before that date and time. Changes after this date can be communicated to camp staff at drop-off or pick-up for camp. If another adult is to pick up your child or car pool, indicate that person’s name on the sign-in sheet.
  • Health forms are required for all campers (except Little Acorns registrants). Your child's health form can be filled out after logging in to your CincyNature Camp (UltraCamp) account
  • Bug spray and sunscreen: Our staff cannot apply these products to campers. Please apply them to your camper before they are dropped off at camp.
  • Children must bring a bag lunch each day, with the exception of children in Little Acorns, Natural Discoveries, and Stories & Trails. We encourage the use of reusable lunch bags and food containers.
  • All children must be potty-trained.
  • At CincyNature Camps where there is a large age range (such as 5-9 year olds in Enchanted Forest, or 6-13 year olds in Creek Quest, etc.), campers are separated into smaller, age-appropriate. Campers are split based on age to ensure appropriate activities and challenge level for campers. Siblings attending these large age range camps are often separated into different groups.

Health Forms

All accounts for registered campers will receive an email with information which details how to fill out your child's health form. This form is accessible in your CincyNature Camp (UltraCamp) account and is required for the safety of all campers.
