About Us

June 12, 2020

Black Lives Matter.

Dear Members, Supporters, and Our Regional Community,

We too mourn the loss of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Tony McDade, and too many others who have lost their lives due to violent racism and systemic inequality.

We affirm that Black Lives Matter. Black Safety Matters. Black Joy Matters.

Freedom of movement in nature and public spaces is a right we do not all currently enjoy in practice, and one we must fight to ensure and protect.  Nature spaces must be equitably accessible to all.

Big changes start with small steps.  Cincinnati Nature Center vows to do our part.  We are committing ourselves to being more inclusive in every aspect of our business and are actively working on specific ideas to address these issues as part of our comprehensive strategic plan. Diversity is a critical component of our future.

We commit to listening, learning, and we pledge to take action. We welcome community suggestions and input on how we can do better.

Sincerely,

Jeff Corney
Executive Director
