PARENT WORKSHOP: PARENT'S ROLE IN CHILDREN'S PLAY AND THE IMPORTANCE OF PLAY IN DEVELOPMENT 1/25/12
Join Mary Lisa Vertuca as she discusses play and its importance in early childhood. Mary Lisa is a clinical faculty member in the Department of Childhood Education and Literacy at Xavier University. Her areas of focus include sustainability education at the college level, whole child development through play, and the role of the arts for young children.
Preschool Director Tisha Luthy will be present to answer questions about the new nature preschool scheduled to open at Rowe Woods in September 2012.
During this presentation, child care will be available in the Pine Room. Parents are welcome to bring lunch and "picnic" in the Pine Room prior to the program.
