NATURE KNOWLEDGE NIGHTS: ANIMALS IN THE MOVIES 1/30/12
This program explains the secrets behind working snakes and other "non-trainable" animals in the movies, as well as how to train animal actors for complex behaviors on command.
Video clips from well known movies are shown, followed by a similar live animal which is used to demonstrate the behavior.
The presenter and her dog were featured on PAX TV's "Animals Are People Too!" on Animal Planet and on "The Late Show With David Letterman".
Lesa Scheifele, a graduate of the elite Exotic Animal Training and Management Program at Moorpark College in California, uses her animal training skills to teach about endangered species and to enrich the lives of captive animals by providing training based in play and curiosity.
