FULL MOON WALK 9/23/10

Beaver Moon

Come at 7:30 PM as the sun is setting to roast a hotdog, eat popcorn and drink lemonade around a fire at Abner Hollow Cabin - Enjoy twilight and meet fellow moon walkers. Then hike under the full moon and enjoy seasonal natural history readings. Listen to the sounds of the night and observe objects in the night sky.

Hike is approximately 2 miles on moderate terrain. Wear good walking shoes! Shoes may get wet when crossing streams and puddles. Flashlights are optional. Please no children under the age of 8. In consideration of all participants, no dogs.

Please call 513-200-0991 before 5 PM the day of the walk for any cancellations due to weather. 

For walks at Rowe Woods, please meet at the kiosk in the parking lot.

For walks at Long Branch Farm & Trails, enter main driveway off Gaynor Road to cross O'Bannon Creek and park above in the Creekside parking lot.  The hike will begin from the trailhead near the Creekside Barn.

Ages: Recommended for ages 8 and older.
Cost: Members $3; Non-members $8.
