EARTHHUGGERS SPRING '10

Children ages 3-4 will look will explore the forest, ponds, and fields of Rowe Woods. The four-part series meets one Saturday each month for four months. This preschool enrichment program integrates nature into all aspects of the day, including outdoor adventure, indoor discovery time, math, literature, music, and art. Indoor discovery time, art exploration, a short hike and snack are provided.
(All children must be potty-trained)
February 13 - Maple Sap and Syrup Taste the sweetness of the trees! Come and investigate how maple sap is transformed into maple syrup.
March 20 - Weather and Rainbows Spring showers bring…rainbows? We will be curious about weather changes and how it affects us and the world around us.
April 10 - Spring is Here Discover all the emerging colors of spring and the wildflowers tthat cover the forest floor.
May 8 - Frogs and Polliwogs Explore the ponds to welcome the frogs back after their long winter slumber.
