AWARENESS WINTER/SPRING 2012
Children ages 5-6 will look will explore the forest, ponds, and fields of Rowe Woods. A short story, craft and snack will also be provided.
February 25 Maple Syrup While we walk along the maple syrup trail, we'll experience how maple sap is transformed to syrup.
March 24 Squirrels We'll take a hike in the woods to look for these playful mammals. We will discover what they eat, where they live and how they communicate with each other.
April 28 Flowers Flowers are in bloom and as we hike we will look for different colors. We'll explore what calls a flower home and how flowers help our environment.
May 12 Pond life We'll visit ponds to look for turtles, geese and other signs of aquatic life.
