AWARENESS SPRING 2010
February 13, March 20, April 10, May 8
Children ages 5-6 will look will explore the forest, ponds, and fields of Rowe Woods. A short story, craft and snack will also be provided. 4-session series.
February 13 Awareness of Sap and Syrup Children will walk along the maple syrup trail to experience how maple sap is transformed to syrup.
March 20 Awareness of Food and Fields Children will take a hike to observe animals finding their hidden food.
April 10 Awareness of Flowers and Forests Saturday Children will take an easy hike to find spring flowers in bloom.
May 8 Awareness of Ponds and Frogs Children will visit ponds to look for frogs, turtles and other signs of aquatic life.
