Summer Volunteer Workshop
Join a very special opportunity for volunteers this August! On August 4 from 7-9 p.m., world-renowned naturalist and expert on nature mentoring, Jon Young, will present "The Art of Mentoring" to CNC volunteers. Jon Young collaborates globally with organizations to foster deeper community and stronger connections with the natural world. His vision brings the collective wisdom of nature back into the modern experience. This is a great chance to learn how you can incorporate "Coyote Mentoring" into your volunteer work at CNC. Don't miss the opportunity to hear one of the great naturalists of our time! Anyone who is interested in mentoring children will benefit from this workshop. Please feel free to bring guests.

S.P.I.N. – Summer Programs in Nature
If you enjoy being outside and want to help kids discover the wonders of nature, SPIN is a great way for you to do both! During the summer, children from area day care centers and recreation programs come to CNC for environmental education and fun! We all meet together at 10 a.m. for a brief introduction then break up into small volunteer led groups – just be back at the visitor center by noon! It is a unique and rewarding way to get kids interested in nature and brush up on your teaching and group management techniques in a relaxed, flexible setting. We offer this Tuesdays and Wednesdays, in June and July from 10 a.m. to noon.

Helping Hands Projects
CincyNature Art Camp Help
Do you like spending time in nature and enjoy making art? Cincy Art Camp needs your help! This wonderful camp is designed for ages 6-12 to spend time in nature finding inspiration for paintings, prints, sculptures and more. Assist art camp director Hilary Neu in connecting art, children and nature. Art Camp happens June 21-25 and June 28-July 2 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Help for a few days or an entire week!
Sewing Ponchos
What happens to our field trips, classes or camps on rainy days? We put ponchos on the kids and go out to explore! Do you have the incredible talent of sewing? Our ponchos are in need of some spring repairs after the April showers.
First Aid Kits
Our first aid kits are in need of aid before they can help others. Would you be willing to spend a little time helping us sort, update and pack our first-aid kits before summer camp season?
Herb Wall
Have a green thumb? Put it to good use at the Herb Wall! CNC's Herb Wall is a tradition started by Carl Krippendorf and is maintained by volunteers. Contact Sarah for more information!
