About NatureVersity

Cincinnati Nature Center’s NatureVersity offers something for all adult outdoor enthusiasts. NatureVersity provides flexible course offerings and a variety of tracks to achieve your personal goals. From single session evening workshops for personal enjoyment to mentorship and naturalist training courses which teach you the skills to share nature with others, adults of any interest level will benefit from NatureVersity.

Location

NatureVersity classes are offered at Cincinnati Nature Center’s Rowe Woods in Milford, Ohio. CNC’s 1,600-acre outdoor classroom is the perfect setting to experience the area’s natural beauty and biodiversity.

Duration

NatureVersity classes range from two-hour single sessions and weekend classes to multi-day or week-long workshops. Many classes are offered on evenings and weekends to fit the busy schedules of adult audiences.

Instructors

NatureVersity classes are taught by CNC staff, local and national experts and experienced volunteers, all with a variety of individual specialties.

Enrollment

NatureVersity classes are limited in space, and preregistration is required. To ensure placement in a NatureVersity class, please register online at www.CincyNature.org/NatureVersity.html well in advance of the class start date.

Cost

NatureVersity classes are offered at a discount to members of CNC, and some are free to members. See class descriptions for pricing.

Custom Programs for Organizations

CNC Offers an 8-hour “Sharing in Nature with Others” course for staff and volunteers of organizations who serve children. for a fee, we will customize a training that meets your needs, including topics such as Play in Nature, Nature Mentors, Trail Techniques for groups and Local Natural History.
